Kidmax Curriculum Title Screen System
Brief
One Story is a children’s curriculum video series requiring a flexible, long-term visual system. Over a four-year collaboration spanning six seasons of curriculum, I partnered with the internal creative team to art direct and design a wide range of illustrated title screens for the Kidmax program—maintaining visual continuity while supporting evolving themes, lessons, and production needs.
Idea
The system was built as a modular storytelling framework rather than a collection of one-off visuals. Each title screen establishes tone, pacing, and emotional entry into the content through colour, composition, and illustration—designed to integrate seamlessly with motion, live-action footage, and weekly curriculum rhythms.
Results
Across 400+ hours, the project delivered a cohesive, scalable library of title screen designs used consistently across six seasons of programming. The system strengthened brand recognition, improved viewer continuity, and was recognized by the production team at Solid Films (formerly The Meeting House) for its clarity, reliability, and creative leadership.
