An Exploration of Dominance and Control
Brief: This personal project, "They," offers a snapshot into how men assert dominance and control through intimidation. The goal was to visually articulate the unsettling nature of fear and power dynamics in a compelling way.
Idea: I designed a piece featuring expressive, hand-written text in negative white space. This striking contrast, combined with bold, jagged lines and varied letter sizes, was used to convey urgency and aggression, immersing the viewer in the project's unsettling message.
Results: "They" creates an immediate and impactful visual statement, effectively highlighting the subtle and overt ways dominance is asserted, treating this deeply personal exploration as an impactful case study.
